Security Supervisor Job Type:
Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the operations of independent security contractors at our prominent food distribution center in Forest Park, GA.
The supervisor will play a critical role in coordinating and supervising the activities of the security contractors to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a professional and collaborative working environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of security contractors.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss security plans, strategies, and new methods.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to security personnel.
- Maintain employee work schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
Security Oversight:
- Oversee the regular patrol of the facility to prevent threats, intrusions, and other criminal activities.
- Supervise day-to-day security operations and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with the client's security expectations and protocols.
- Oversee the accurate and timely reporting of security incidents.
- Collaborate with higher management to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between security contractors and company management.
- Communicate professionally with the client's employees or guests, even in times of conflict.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies, or other first responders, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry or a related field.
- High school diploma or G.

D.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- A background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
